Lulu Green Restaurant Review
Dine Out Boston 2025 was a big success, with 185 restaurants participating in the Boston tradition. One participating restaurant was Lulu Green, a plant based eatery serving both healthy eats and comfort food. The original location opened five years ago in the South End, and another location is expected to open in Cambridge at the end of August.
Upon walking into the Boston location, it’s small and intimate with a handful of tables lining the left side of the restaurant. Bar stools and counters line the front, and a pastry counter is right in front displaying their delicious baked goods and desserts for the day. They all looked scrumptious and it would be hard to make a choice between them. Next to the pastry counter is a bar, where their signature cocktails and mocktails are made by waiters, who are all very friendly.

Lulu Green’s prix fixe menu created for Dine Out Boston contained delicious appetizers like their maple hot wings, zucchini caponata, and brussel sprout Caesar. Next up was the mouthwatering entrees such as the Korean BBQ meatballs, hot honey glazed chick’n sandwich, and pasta all’amatricana. The chick’n sandwich is a regular menu item while the other two were specials just for the event. Finally, for dessert, diners chose between the strawberries 3-ways (drunken, whipped, and with almond crumble), and mango and passionfruit flavored ice cream mochi.
While customers were welcome to order off the prix fixe menu, the regular menu was also available. Their regular menu features a plant based burger, shawarma, and short rib, pasta alla vodka, and al pastor tacos. In addition to appetizers such as the Caesar salad and hot wings, Lulu Green offers mezze platters served with za’atar pita bread. Customers could get 3 spreads and toppings for $18 and 5 for $25. They can choose between hummus, beirut olives, pickles, marinated beets, cashew cheese, walnut red pepper muhammara, and brie. Everything is plant based and homemade, and you will not miss the dairy or meat because everything is delectable.
In addition to dinner, Lulu Green also provides brunch. They serve up eggs and pancakes along with coffee and croissants. If any of this appeals to you, check out Lulu Green for a delicious plant based meal that will leave you amazed and sated!
