Summer In The City Concert Series

Summer is going to get a whole lot more exciting and musical with the return of Boston’s Summer In The City concert series! Located at the Boston Harbor Hotel in Seaport, this concert series features live music, cocktails, and great vibes. The next two months will be guaranteed to be filled with summer fun, with 48 booked concerts at the hotel, both new and returning artists.

The series began on June 6 with Sugarbabies Band , and the concerts will continue throughout the summer from 6-10pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Other bands on the lineup include Fat City , Soul City , Ryan Murphy , and Young Love & The Thrills . A lot of bands are local, which provides a great opportunity of offering a platform for rising talent and community engagement.

In addition, there is an expanded bar and a new menu of appetizers and shareables for everyone to enjoy while listening to music by the water. There will also be pop-up experiences for attendees to enjoy, which haven’t been announced yet. Admission is free, so secure a spot while you can! There’s something for everyone at this concert series.

Seaport Summer Cruise Series

Along with Boston’s Summer In The City, Berklee  is putting on their own free summer concert series featuring their students. Fourteen locations will feature different acts along with four different series: Jazz at the Fort , Sunset Concerts at Symphony Park , Swingin’ in the Fens, and Tito Puente Latin Music Series . Concerts will be occurring most nights weekly, and some locations have already started showcasing talent. Artists appearing at Berklee’s summer concert series include Ceci Reyes , Solaya , Srisley , and Christos Metaxas .

Whether you’re walking through Seaport or any other Boston neighborhood, this summer will be full of live music to enjoy. Both Summer In The City and Berklee’s concert series are just two opportunities to discover up and coming artists. Fresh air and free live music by local talent, what could be better?
