Bachata Room’s Fifth Annual Batchatamania & White Summer Party
Have you ever been to a salsa night? Bachata Room is hosting their fifth annual Bachatamania on July 19, which is unlike any salsa night in Boston. Learn merengue, salsa, and bachata in a full day workshop, and then enjoy popular Bachata artist ESME live while dancing the night away at their White Summer Party! Bachatamania is an 18+ event, and the White Summer Party is a 21+ event.
Starting at 11am until 10pm, the day will be filled with salsa, merengue, and bachata workshops and lessons from professionals from all over the US. DJ Nimrod will be spinning tunes during the workshops. There’s a break for lunch, which is covered by a Dominican food buffet and cookies for dessert. There’s also a break from 5:45-9pm to go home, gather your white clothing, and get ready for the nighttime party. At 9pm, there will be a bachata class beforehand.
From 10-1:30am, the White Summer Party begins with live entertainment from bachata singer, songwriter, and producer ESME. He’s originally from the Dominican Republic, but migrated to New York as a child. His influences are Julio Iglesias, Ricardo Arjona, Juan Gabriel, Bruno Mars, and The Weeknd. He’s currently working on his debut album, featuring 16 up and coming bachata artists. His set will include a blend of sensual, urban, and traditional bachata.
