Boston Weekend Happenings
There are many things to do in Boston, but some things can be redundant. Every Friday or Saturday night different clubs host different talents that meet different individuals needs from rap to latin music and for this week I want to share music events happening in popular clubs in Boston and also places to debrief what happened the night before so that everyones caught up. When I go to the club I wanna make sure that my friends and I are having a good time and since I’m in a good mood, here are some Boston events that are happening that you need to pick up on.
Have a Blast!
Here are someAMAZINGthings to do this weekend!
JULY 12th
Rusko Presented by Ground Control
Time: 10:00 P
It's 7PM Friday. It's 95 degrees, we should go to Royale for cocktails and Instagram stories. This Friday at Royale, Rusko will have everyone in the building young, lit and turnt as you forget you were at work five hours ago. Enjoy a space that's loud and electrifying and full of great vibes, plus everyone in the building will be 21 plus. Text the group chat and let them know what's the plan for this Friday night because we’re here for a good time, not a long time! Put on your club attire, pre game and let Royale take care of the rest.

Venu Saturdays- HIP HOP ROOM
https://www.venuboston.com/event/?event=1516529
10:00 P
Venu is an amazing spot for friends who have different music tastes as the space offers two spaces in one for HIP HOP and one for Latin Music. For my 22nd Birthday my friends and I went there to see Young M.A and it was amazing. They offer two bars, one in each room so it’s not over crowded. From tequila sodas to a tequila sunrise, I'll have five of each please as my wallet said no and my credit card maxed out. Located near the Boston Commons, it's a place that seems to never sleep, so when you get out around 2 AM the Mcdonalds should still be open. It's a great place to dance and meet new people and just remember Venu offers two different music vibes, but still provides the party!
July 13th
Bottomless Bubbles, Bites & Flights Brunch at Flight Club
https://flightclubdartsusa.com/boston/seaport/our-experiences/brunch
11:00 A - 3:00 P
The only flights I’ll be taking this summer will have bubbles with a drop of Orange juice. Brunch is the only time where you can have a glass of champagne at 11:00 am and not be judged and if you are my friend group is willing to adopt you. Also the prices are pricing with it only being $55 for bottomless bubbles, so imagine there's five of you, that's a pretty good deal to me. Then an extra $10 for bottomless flatbread which doesn’t sound that bad, especially since balance is everything.
July 13th
1 dollar Oysters Ilona South End
4:00 P - 7:00 P
I heard Oysters are an aphrodisiac. Ilona wants to spread the love of sharing their space for three hours for $1 oysters. They also have a Passion Martini which looks scrumptious with an orange slice floating in the middle like a floatie. They have a great menu with a lot to offer located in South Boston. How many Oysters can you devour before you say “ enough” and is 1 dollar for each one going to make the restaurant regret their decision because you’re going to bleed them dry of oysters. When it comes to the South End it can be a bit pricey, but with happy hour oysters, I promise you, you won’t regret it.
July 13th
The After Brunch at The Urban Grape
https://bos.theurbangrape.shop/products/05-18-2024-the-after-brunch
2:00 P - 5:00 P
Why does the fun have to end once brunch is over? If your friends aren’t falling into the bushes or lying to you telling you, “ you look fine” then you need to enjoy The After Brunch at The Urban Grape. Enjoy a great lineup of wines and spirits to sip on while shopping for a local maker to bring friends for this leisurely afternoon tasting! If your partner has an Amax I would tell them to hide it because what happens after Brunch should not show up on your bank statements and best believe, you will want to do some shopping.
As soon as it’s Monday, people are already thinking about the weekend and I want to share five things to do this weekend so that you’re not stressing out on Thursday planning something to do. From block parties to mini concerts this weekend has a lot to offer especially when it comes to networking and meeting new friends. All five locations offer an environment where you can meet new people and experience new endeavors that will ultimately have a positive impact in your life and maybe even in your love life. Get ready to be outside and remember you’re only young once so use those knees and get down on the dance floor!
July 20th
FOUND BLOCK PARTY
https://www.instagram.com/p/C6gxmnvOGnc/
12:00 P - 5:00 P
Blocking off Columbia Street from Main Street to Bishop Allen drive until the end of 2024 to throw a block party to celebrate the expansion of two storefronts you can shop and eat from local food vendors and enjoy live music consisting of a summer worthy soundtrack. Vintage shopping is definitely the word to describe the different finds you’ll see when walking around and many of the items consist of knick knacks and home goods and even jewelry. If vintage shopping is your thing then going down to Central Square in Cambridge M.A is definitely your spot.
July 20th
THE GET DOWN
10:00 P
The Middle East has a lot to offer and I’m not talking about the McDonalds that's across the street waiting for you to order your Mc Chicken and Coke. At the Middle East club you definitely don’t know who you’ll meet and whenever I’m walking around 9:00 pm it always seems to be busy with a huge line out the door with eager guests waiting to get in. July 20th DJ Moe Dee will have the party in a disco and funk mood and classics that will have you grooving and moving.
JULY 20th
RICK ROSS BIG NIGHT LIVE
https://bneg.calreplyapp.com/bignightlive
10:30 P
If you’re not familiar with Rick Ross then you must be living under a rock. A titan of outsize boasts, booming bass and trunk-caving hits, Rick Ross is a hip-hop icon with one of the genre's most reliable and formidable discographies. This is definitely a great idea if you’re into hip hop and rap so gen z and millennials I’m calling you out. Everyone in the building will be 21+ so the drinks will be flowing and the music will be explicit so don’t miss out on an opportunity that will have your friends on Snapchat wishing they were there.
JULY 19th
SINGLE MINGLE
https://www.eventbrite.com/e/single-mingle-tickets-928814327657?aff=cal
6:30 P- 8:30 P
I'm tired of swiping on dating apps looking for my potential partner. It’s like people don’t want to date anymore or don't know what they want. Dating is like going to the grocery store. You know what's good for you, but once you see the Double Stuff Oreos it's all going down the drain. Lets get rid of the dating apps and get out there and be a social butterfly and attend single mingle where maybe at the end of night you won’t be single like a pringle. Arrive, pick up your nametag, grab a beverage, enjoy a complimentary bite to eat, and meet new singles! This is a cocktail hour style event, designed to be fun and give you a few nudges towards speaking and meeting new singles in Boston.
JULY 19th
20s and 30s at LAWN on D
https://www.facebook.com/groups/makefriendsaftercollege
https://www.meetup.com/Hey-Siri-How-Do-I-Make-New-Friends-After-College/
7:30 P - 11:30 P
For my introverted friends looking to meet people in Boston especially those in their early 20s and 30s then this meetup could be great for you. LAWN on D offers light up swings and cool games like a huge Connect Four or Chess, but what really adds fun to the space is their bar and food. The drinks and food are reasonably priced but also have great options for people when it comes to the different cocktails that they have. One of my favorites was a frozen margarita they had and it was my drink of the day. Lawn on D has finally opened for the summer and I think it's about time we go check it out! Let's all meet up at Lawn on D, get drinks, food, and play games!
