Arrive at seven o’clock (Ball Entrance with Dinner) to enjoy our North End-themed dinner stations** and tasty dessert treats or stop by after nine o’clock (Ball Entrance) for Tuscan inspired hors-d'oeuvres. Cocktails, beer, and wine will be available for purchase from the cash bars throughout the Westin grand ballroom.
With music from DJ Chris spinning your favorites through the decades, you can dance the night away--and when you need a break from the party, bid on our silent auction. Past items included signed Boston sports memorabilia, Barbour coats, hotel packages, and more. Black tie optional, formal attire required. No jeans, sneakers, inappropriate hats, flip-flops, baggy clothes, athletic attire, flannel shirts, t-shirts. Those improperly dressed will be turned away.

THE GAINSVILLE ROAD BAND is a female fronted cover band comprised of talented musicians that hail from the Metro Boston area of Massachusetts who joined forces in 2011. To provide essential support services for breast cancer patients to ease the stresses of everyday life, allowing the focus to be on family, recovery and healing. Providing transportation to medical appointments, light housekeeping, nutritional and grocery assistance, childcare reimbursement, nutritious prepared/delivered meals and integrative therapy services free of charge through our Healing Together Patient and Family Care Program and Metastatic Breast Cancer Support Program help to relieve a patient’s burden while in treatment. The Ellie Fund is honored to provide assistance to breast cancer patients residing in and/or receiving treatment in Massachusetts.
Silent Auction proceeds will benefit Ellie Fund, whose mission is “to provide essential support services for breast cancer patients to ease the stresses of everyday life, allowing the focus to be on family, recovery, and healing.”

The event is set up as a cocktail reception with limited seating and ample room for dancing. The Grand Ballroom will open after 9pm with limited seating unless reserved in advance.
Dinner Seating
The Back Bay Ball has ample seating available on a first come, first serve basis. Dinner seating will take place in a section of the Grand Ballroom. All guests will be seated at tables of 10 with other event guests. Requests to seat with other dinner guests are welcomed!
