Boston Event Guide was started by Jeff Popkin in 1995 as a way to increase the Boston social experience for young professionals. When Popkin started the company he was tired of hearing about an event only after that event was over, and he knew many other people were feeling that way as well.
With our interactive website featuring five local event calendars, Boston Event Guide makes it easier for people to see what is going on in the city and surrounding areas. When people check out our site, they hear about the best events before they happen.
Aside from posting events, Boston Event Guide also sends out a weekly newsletter to its 45,000 subscribers. These newsletters showcase some of the best events going on each week and alert members to special price deals on upcoming events. Click here to view our current Newsletter.
Boston Event Guide also hosts their own networking and social events for its members and others interested in meeting new people. These events range from our giant New Year's Eve Resolution Ball to our smaller Tuesday Tastings. Click here to view our current events.
Lastly, Boston Event Guide offers a variety of marketing, promotional and event planning services. Our services include PR, email marketing, secure event ticketing, event sponsorship opportunities, flyer production and distribution, advertising solutions and more.
