NEC Symphonic Choir and Chamber Singers + Erica J. Washburn: Voices of NEC – One Heart

Tonight’s program, the second in a 3-year concert series for the Choral Department, celebrates contributions to the choral canon from NEC alumni. The nine compositions performed tonight are the winners of the choral composition performance competition, "Voices of NEC".
     The composers include Charles Berofsky '24 (Thou Art My Lute), Bosba '19 (this is the garden), Nell Shaw Cohen '12 (Street Haunting), David Hahn '80 (I Can't Breathe), Krishan Oberoi '96 (Telescope), Andrew Rindfleisch '90 (Salmo e Alabanza), Kevin Siegfried '05 DMA (One Heart), Ari Sussman '16, '18 MM (Higaleh Nah), and Benjamin Yee Paulson '19 MM (Song of Hope).
