One Liner Madness

One Liner Madness is a Time Out Critics’ Pick comedy show that travels the country to find the best joke writer in every city.

On Saturday, March 8, dozens of Boston-area comedians will compete in a head-to-head, single-elimination, March Madness style joke tournament. Audience applause determines which comics advance, and who ultimately becomes the One Liner Madness Boston Champion and winner of the trophy and cash prize. The show moves fast: It goes from 64 comedians to a champ in 100 minutes. 

One Liner Madness was created in 2016 by LA-based comedian and game show writer Emily Winter and musician Larry Mancini. This is its first time back in Boston since 2019!
