Technology is playing an ever-important role in the beauty industry, proving itself to be increasingly key from an experiential and a customer service perspective online and offline. The Flawless by Gabrielle Union Facebook Messenger bot was built in partnership with Botworx.ai, an AI powered platform for authentic conversations. Customers are asked to participate in a hair profiler, answering a series of questions from hair color and diameter to their hair’s damage level and daily haircare maintenance. At the end of the profile, tailored product recommendations are suggested for each user. Customers can then explore their product selection and purchase their Flawless by Gabrielle Union products online. Customers can also share their Flawless by Gabrielle Union hair product recommendations with friends increasing brand awareness with viral distribution.
